Biodiversity Project Update
At the beginning of December 2024 we announced that we had been working with Brecon Beacons Local Nature Partnership to obtain a grant from the Community & Town Council Nature Recovery to support biodiversity projects within our community.

Our grant application was approved and part of our project was to install some bird boxes with solar powered WIFI cameras, so that we can provide images of birds nesting and bringing up their chicks to our website and Facebook page.
We have now received our first bird box, which has been installed in Llanhamlach and is now up and running. Fingers crossed, that we will have some new “tenants” within the near future, so that we can relay some exciting video clips to our local community.
