Mrs. Keren Bender (Clerk) Keren has served as the Clerk and Responsible

Financial Officer for Llanfrynach Community Council since February 2023. She

holds an Honours Degree in Business and Finance and has worked in the finance

departments and learning & development department within the Steel Industry and

is a Past President of Community, the Steel Trade Union. Prior to joining the

Community Council, she was the Executive Member for Education for Blaenau

Gwent Borough Council.

For the Community Council she is responsible for handling a wide range of

administrative tasks. Her role requires her to prepare agendas and minutes for

council meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.

Keren also oversees financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and

compliance with audit requirements. Her organisational skills and attention to detail

ensure the smooth operation of council activities.
