Julia Phillips
Julia Phillips. Born and bred on the Beacons. Often seen running ahead of a flock of sheep at various road junctions in Cantref dressed more like Wurzel than Sally. Passtimes include sheep walking, sorting and chasing for a Uncle John the Neuadd, in between gainful employment as a rural surveyor. Wardens Cantref Church. Partner to the lovely Meirion Pencrug – across the hill. Sister to three and Aunty to eight.
I’m a non elected Community Councillor for Cantref filling one of two available posts for our ward. I aim to try to keep services, such as they are, maintaining our roads, rubbish and recycling collection, broadband – for us and our holiday visitors vital to many businesses in Cantref as well as services and community events for our ageing parish and also our new generation.
